Rita J. Clarke, PA-C, MPAS received her Physician Associate degree from Emory University in 1986 after attending Michigan State University for her undergraduate work. Her first 20 years were spent in the surgical arena where she perfected a technical skill & eye for beautiful skin closure. She worked alongside some of the top surgeons in Atlanta & San Francisco and was given accolades from them all.
Since 2006 she has dedicated her practice to facial re-contouring via non-surgical injections. She has performed over 7000 procedures with the goal of recapturing and retaining a youthful, natural appearance through artistic injection placement on clients ranging from 21- 91 years old. Whether it is lip enhancement, cheek augmentation, diminishing wrinkles caused by over-animation, or the deflation & gravitational pulls that aging causes; she will develop a plan of action to meet your goals.

Kathleen L. Feeney, ARNP, MS graduated from Rutgers, then received her Master’s degree from Baylor College of Medicine where she specialized in Woman’s Health and became a Certified Nurse Midwife. While treating common skin conditions Kathleen decided her true passion and calling was skin care and anti aging techniques.
She brings a diverse amount of talent to Venus. Kathleen began her medical aesthetics career in 2004 while working closely with talented plastic surgeons. While gaining knowledge of the anatomy and muscles of the face as well as the skin, she began injecting Botox and fillers. She continued her career expanding into dermatology & the med spa environment performing consultations, and carrying out treatment plans that meets the needs of each & every client individually. Her excellent understanding of the aging face due to volume and structural losses allows her clients to regain their youthfulness. She is dedicated to each client’s complete satisfaction. |

Karen DeBaron, PA-C,
graduated from the University of Florida Physician Assistant Program in 1990 and obtained her Masters Degree in Biological Sciences from Barry University. She has extensive work experience in Emergency Medicine and has become proficient at beautiful skin closures.
She comes to us with the desire to make people look and feel naturally younger by diminishing wrinkles and skin folds, and by augmenting cheeks due to atrophy. Karen has has advanced training with Botox, Dysport, and Radiesse Dermal Filler. While having a keen understanding of the anatomy of the face, the chemistry, and the side effects of the latest products she works with, her main concern is client safety and satisfaction. Her compassion & sensitivity allows the client to feel immediately at ease and her rave reviews keep people returning time & time again.

Kathy Corbo, ARNP, received her Master's of Science Degree in Nursing from Boston College and has 25 years experience in health care. She advanced her career at Harvard University's largest teaching hospitals. In 2004 she embraced the exciting field of Medical Aesthetics. “Expanding my clinical expertise to include Medical Aesthetics was a natural progression of my passion for educating and empowering women to feel confident and positive about themselves and their bodies. How we look and feel has a strong impact on our lives and those around us. Both men and women want to feel great and look their very best." Kathy is certified & a national trainer in Women's Health Care, Medical Lasers, Botox/Dysport & Dermal fillers. Nadine Matar is a Physician Assistant with a Masters of Medical Science from Barry University in Miami, Florida and is NCCPA board certified through the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her career began in Internal Medicine in Miami & took a turn when her husband obtained his Family Pediatric Residency in Tampa. She persued her dream of aesthetic medicine & teamed up with Venus to obtain her advanced training with the newest techniques in dermal fillers. Nadine has mastered the art of filling without needles, to minimize pain and bruising, in addition to her skills with Botox and Dysport. Don't let her beauty & confidence fool you, her skills and acumen are far beyond her years.

Emily Friedman, RD, PA-C, earned her Bachelor’s in Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University, and her Master’s in Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University. After years performing research on food insecurity, Omega 3 fatty acids in pregnancy, and child nutrition education in underserved populations, Emily founded E Nutrition, LLC, where she became proficient in diagnosing, analyzing, & creating the ultimate management plan to meet an individuals needs. Her desires grew to do more for her clients as she expanded into the medical aesthetic arena after obtaining her master’s degree.
Emily understands how important it is to feel and look healthy from the inside out. Venus clients demand & deserve only the best practitioners in the field and they will find Emily refreshing, nurturing & very skilled at helping them meet their goals & desires. Kim Elser, MSN, ARNP received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach and, in 2007, earned a certificate as a Medical Esthetic Nurse Practitioner. Prior to her formal training and certification in 2007, Kim spent years performing medical esthetics and is thrilled to bring her years of expertise to the clientele at Venus min Med Spa’s Aventura location!
Kim is an absolute perfectionist and believes in the art form that is medical esthetics. With her great eye and gentle touch, Kim can guide you through any procedure from a comprehensive consultation to continued treatment. Because she understands the underlying structure of the face, Kim is able to provide each and every client with a natural, beautiful look that they will appreciate for days, months, and years to come!
